Born in Wuettemberg, immigrated to PA, USA in 1832 on "Brig Harvest", farmer in Upper Fairfield twp, Lycoming County, PA. Married Elizabeth - 1st wife - Wolf (my ancestor) on 6 Oct 1833 in Lycoming County, PA.
Mathias may be a brother or cousin of Gottleib Fogle.
NOTE: There are two very small stones - not much more than fieldstone -- near Mathias & Gottlieb. I would guess they are stones of someone's wives, but there is nothing readable on them.
