MRS. L. VERNON DIED IN CALIF.
A Former Fairfield Resident and Body to Be Brought Here For Burial
Mrs. Louis L. Vernon died yesterday morning at her home in Glendale, Calif., after an illness of about 2 months, according to a telephone message received early this morning by Mr. and Mrs. Joseph E. Hickenbottom, Mrs. Vernon being their sister-in-law.
The body will be brought to this city for burial, arriving here Friday night accompanied by a daughter, Mrs. Paul Ogle of Los Angeles.
Mrs. Vernon was formerly Miss Alta Welch of Washington county and for about 25 years made Fairfield her homme. Mr. Vernon died here about 5 years ago and after that Mrs. Vernon went to California to live.
She is survived by the following children: Mrs. Paul Ogle and Mrs. Madge Anthony of Los Angeles, Mrs. Frank Stewart and Mrs. Paul Bagley of Des Moines and Willard (Frances Cagney) of London, England.
