Shirley Mae Walker, Mar 3, 1937 - April 25, 2011, a47 Year Resident of San Jose, wife of A.Z. Walker, mother to Doug and Todd Walker, and grandmother to Brian and Nicole Walker, passed away at age 74. Shirley was a former PBX operator for Pacific Bell and a retired clerk for the County of Santa Clara. She loved her two cats and adopted any pet that would stray her way. Shirley often stated that she would feed a hippo if it strayed up on her porch. Her generous, caring, and spunky personality will be greatly missed by her family and friends. Funeral services will be April 30 at 1:00 p.m. at Los Gatos Memorial Park.
