Funeral services will be held in the Erickson & Brown Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday, November 2, 2013 at 12:00 P.M. for Taft resident, Sharon Kay Barnard, 59. Rev. Paul Wilson, pastor of Trinity Southern Baptist Church will officiate. Mrs. Barnard was born in Hayfork on October 31, 1953 and passed away in Taft on October 22, 2013. She and her family moved from Fresno to Taft in 1982. Her greatest love in life was being able to spend time with her family. She was preceded in death by her parents, Nellie and Olen Evans; her brothers, Ray, Levi, Virgil, David, Johnny and John Calvin and her sisters, Louwana, Pat and Lavonda. Mrs. Barnard is survived by her husband, Robert; her daughter, Amy Jacobs; her son, Justin Barnard; her grandchildren, Morgan, Madison and Allison; her brother and his wife, Tom and Ruth Bynum; her sisters, Ruth Greenlee, Carol and her husband, Larry Haggard, Rita and Jim Derry and Lois Abourzke and many nieces and nephews. No visitation hours are scheduled and the services are under the direction of the Erickson & Brown Funeral Home.
