Katie Sue Rogers, 92, daughter of Calvin and Susan Sanders, born December 28, 1912 in Tupelo, MS passed away June 20, 2005 at Provena Mercy Hospital in Aurora, IL.
She is survived by her children, Lou Rogers, Oswego, IL, Vivian (Rich) Goblet, North Aurora, IL, Carol (L.C.) Freels, Somerville, TN and Wayne Rogers, Ephrata, PA; 14 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews that she loved.
She is preceded in death by her mother and father; five sisters; two brothers; and a great-granddaughter; a daughter-in-law; and a special friend, Jim Valerga.
The wake will be at Roller Citizens Funeral Home in West Memphis, AR on Friday, June 24 from 6-8 p.m. Services will be held on Saturday, June 25 at 1:00 p.m. with a viewing at 12:00 p.m. at Methodist Church in Joiner, AR. Burial will be at the Bassett Cemetery in Bassett, AR.
