Sam'l Barnett Dies Last Night of Paralysis

Samuel Nelson Barnett, retired merchant of this city, died at 9:20 o'clock last night at the home at 228 north Colfax street after an extended illness of complications. Mr Barnett had been in failing health for the past three years from paralysis.
The deceased was born at Reelsville in Putnam county but had been a resident of this city for many years. He was a son of Isaac Barnett, a pioneer settler of Reelsville, who later located in Brazil and engaged in business here. The deceased was engaged in the grocery business on west National avenue for many years and later was employed at the Nance creamery.
He is survived by the widow, Mrs Ada Barnett, and two sons, Nelson W., & Clifford A. Barnett of this city; also two sisters, Mrs R.E. Wilson, city & Mrs R.W. Miller of Gainesville, Fla.
The remains were taken to Miller & Sons' funeral parlors and prepared for burial this morning, where returned to the home where funeral services will be held at 2:30 o'clock Friday afternoon, Rev Kern officiating, internment Cottage Hill cemetery.
