She was born September 2, 1905 in Rison. Mrs. Lunsford was the oldest living member of the Rison Economic Homemaker’s Club, member of Rison Chapter #431, order of Eastern Star. She also served on the board of Greenwood Cemetery Association for several years, was a homemaker and member of Rison United Methodist Church since 1923. Mrs. Lunsford was one of the last daughters in the south of a Confederate Soldier.
Mrs. Lunsford was preceded in death by her parents, W. D. Adams and Luna Quinn-Adams; her husband, Charlie Frank Lunsford; two brothers, Herbert Adams and Willie Adams; one sister, Anna L. Cornman.
She is survived by nieces and nephews, two nieces that were care givers, Wanda Vining and Betty Seymore, both of Sherrill.
The graveside services will be held at Greenwood Cemetery with Brother James Watson and Reverend Don Johnson officiating under the direction of Buie Funeral Home of Rison.
