IRENE V. COUGHLIN NESTOR, 94, of NEPTUNE, died Monday, Sept. 5, at Jersey Shore University Medical Center, Neptune. She was born in Jersey City, where she lived for most of her life. She became a resident of Seaside Park after her retirement and later moved to Neptune. She was employed by Kraft Foods in New York City for several years before becoming senior clerk and bookkeeper in the Hudson County Hall of Records in Jersey City, where she worked for 25 years. She retired a number of years ago. She was a communicant of St. Paul of the Cross Church, Jersey City, and St. Catharine's Church, Seaside Park.

She was predeceased by her husband, Patrick A. Nestor; a daughter, Noreen McCormick; her parents, Nora and John Coughlin; and two brothers, Daniel and John Coughlin. Surviving are a son, the Rev. Robert P. Nestor of Seton Hall University; a daughter, Kathleen Baldassare; and two grandchildren, Frank and Allayne Baldassare.

Visitation will be from 3 to 5 p.m. today at McLaughlin Funeral Home, 625 Pavonia Ave., Jersey City. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral at 9 a.m. Thursday from the funeral home followed by a 10 a.m. Funeral Mass at St. Paul of the Cross Church, Jersey City. Interment will be in Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington.
