WINDSOR - Howard L. Glatfelter Sr., 89, of Windsor, died at 6:13 a.m. Sunday at Manor Care South. He was the husband of Beatrice B. (Brenneman) Glatfelter, who died April 4, 1975.
The service will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Burg Funeral Home, 134 W. Broadway, Red Lion. Burial will be in Windsor Cemetery. Viewing will be 1 to 2 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. The Rev. Forrest S. Bish will officiate.
Mr. Glatfelter was born March 15, 1913, in Hellam. He was the son of the late Mason and Gertrude (Geesey) Glatfelter.
He was a layout man at Borg Warner in York for 36 years. He was a member of UAW Local 1872.
Mr. Glatfelter is survived by a son, Howard L. Glatfelter Jr. of Kingston; a daughter, Nancy J. Breyer of Windsor; two grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; a sister, Pauline Garner of York; and nieces and nephews.
