Gail Cathcart, age 85, of Portland, passed away July 14, 2011, at her home. She was born in Bussey, Iowa, on December 22, 1926, to the late Floyd and Anna Trinkle. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Clifton Cathcart. She is survived by daughters, Bernie Gibbs of Portland, Marsha (Jim) Teel of Burleson, Tex.; sons, Cleo (Karen) Dunkin of Pella, Iowa, David (Judy) Dunkin of Portland, Corkey (Jan) Cathcart of Lufkin, Tex., Tim (Casey) Cathcart of Portland; 18 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren. Visitation is 6 p.m., until 8 p.m., Saturday, July 16, 2011, and 6 p.m., until 8 p.m., Sunday. Funeral service is 10 a.m., Monday, July 18, 2011, at Wilkinson & Wiseman Funeral Home with Tim Cathcart, Pastor Edward Ferrell and Pastor John Watkins officiating. Interment is at Old Brush Cemetery. Pallbearers are Josh Dunkin, Nathan Dunkin, Chad Dunkin, Jay Cathcart, Ryan Teel and Jeff Gibbs.
