Funeral services for Earl J. Sanders, Jr., 72, who died Dec. 17, were conducted Tuesday with Rev. Malcolm Brown officiating and Bratcher directing. Born in Elbert county, Ga., Feb. 4, 1889, as the son of Mr. and Mrs. Malory Sanders, he was married to Miss Mabel Capshaw to whom four children were born, one son and three daughters. He was a member of the Baptist Church.


Surviving are a son Charles of Brigham City, Utah; and Mesdames F. B. Robertson, East Point, Ga., Fayette Watts, Tenner, Ala., and T. H. Moore, Travelers Rest, S. C.


Also surviving are two brothers, L. A. and R. L. both of Anderson, S. C., and three sisters, Mesdames G. C. Thompson and J. C. McClain, both of Anderson S. C., and George Kipp, New Jersey. Surviving also are grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
