DENTON, Frances Irene (Shook) Age 85, formerly of Trotwood, passed away Wednesday, July 14, 2005 at Brookhaven Nursing and Care Center, Brookville, Ohio. Mrs. Denton was born December 11, 1919 in Dayton, Ohio, graduated from Steele High School, Class of 1939 and retired from Inland Mfg. Co. in 1980.

Preceded in death by her husband, Robert Eugene Denton (whom she married in 1940); parents, Samuel Godfrey and Martha Esther Shook; and 2 brothers, Joseph Robert and Edwin Lee Shook. Survived by a daughter, Virginia Stewart; grandchildren, Jill and Jamie Stewart; great grandchildren, Stephanie, Heather, Josh and Zack; sister, Dorothy Johnson and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral serviceat the GEORGE C. MARTIN FUNERAL HOME, "Northridge Chapel" 5040 Frederick Pike at Needmore Road, Dayton,Oh. Brother Darrell Holland, officiating. Interment Abbottsville Cemetery. Published in the Dayton Daily News
