He is survived by his wife, Mary Abel; children, April Abel, Joe Abel, Bridget Lopez and her husband, Guillermo, Frances Abel and Angelique Abel; stepchildren Lori San Miguel, Khan San Miguel and Marlo Malies and her husband, Patrick; six grandchildren and two stepgrandchildren. Visitation will be held at 9 a.m. today at Desert View Funeral Home, with services following at 10 a.m. Burial will be at Desert View Memorial Park.
