R. J. Dorsey, who with his family has lived here for the past three years, died of pneumonia at his home last Saturday morning. The remains were carried to McKinney, Texas, and laid to rest with Masonic honors at four o'clock Sunday afternoon.
The following accompanied the remains to McKinney: Masons: J. H. Ledbetter, Jno. Vandervort, J. W. Moon and Lee Brooks. Woodmen: C. A. Coakley and G. K. McGhee.
Mr. Dorsey was a cotton buyer with the firm of Love & Thurmond, Ardmore. He leaves a wife and two children. A sister and two brothers were with him when the end came.
The News with a host of friends extends sympathy to the bereaved family.
