He is survived by his companion Gerald Reynolds, two nephews Scott and Bruce Bergen, one brother Ronald Bergen of South Carolina.

Interment Thursday, May 8, at 11 a.m. at Holy Cross Cemetery, 4470 Hilltop Dr. San Diego, Ca 92102.

Donations may be made to San Diego Hospice, 4311 Third Ave. SD Ca 92103.
