Funeral services for Miss Etta E. Leftwich, 70, were held from the Chapel of Hooper Huddleston Funeral Home today at 2:00 with the Rev. Herman Hooten of Algood officiating. Burial was in Smellage Cemetery.
Miss Leftwich died Wednesday morning in the local hospital after a short illness. She was a retired school teacher of this county, and was a native of Putnam County, the daughter of the late George and Anna Haggard Leftwich and a former resident of Rt. 2, Baxter.
Survivors include a sister, Mrs. Mary Ellis, Rt. 2, Cookeville; 2 brothers, W. S. Leftwich, Baxter & Dallas Leftwich, Cookeville, TN.
