Memorial services for Daniel E. Rogers, 78, will be held at 3 p.m. today, at Leonard Memorial Home, Ltd., 565 Duane St., Glen Ellyn. The Rev. James Draper will officiate.

Born June 24, 1921, in McHenry, he died Friday, May 26, 2000, at Glen Oaks Medical Center, Glendale Heights. Cremation will be private.

Mr. Rogers was a retired electrician and a member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW) Local @#701. A veteran, he had served in the Army during World War II.

He was the beloved husband of Nancy Rogers of Glen Ellyn; loving father of Dan (Sindy) Rogers of Winfield and Mary Rogers of Wheaton; proud grandfather of Kirk Gardner, and Michael and Kelly Rogers; and dear brother of Richard Rogers of Lombard, Scott Rogers of Carol Stream, and Elizabeth Dziak of Villa Park.

A memorial visitation will be held from 1 p.m. until the time of services today, at the funeral home.
