Beulah was born to Leander "Lee" and Maggie Hatcher Chambers of Sevier Co. TN. She married Walter Boyd Thomas and had 4 children. Alfred L. Thomas, Walter B. Thomas Jr (who died at around 3 yrs.) Lois Evelyn Thomas Walker, and Clarence Thomas.

Beulah was a generous lady who loved flowers. She and her elder sister, Flora, loved to swap plants. White ones were her favorite. She loved to spend time outdoors in her garden, and was also a great cook! She loved her family and was loved by all who knew her. She is greatly missed.
