Nathion R. Humes Dies
Eighteen-Year-Old Son of the Late Mayor Thomas Humes Becomes Victim of Pneumonia
Nathion Humes, the 18-year-old son of the late ex-Mayor Thomas Humes of Seattle, passed away at the family residence at 213 Twenty-third Avenue South this morning from pneumonia.

Some time ago the boy was stricken with quinsy, which developed into pneumonia. He has been ill with the latter illness only a short time.

Nathion Robert Humes was born in Seattle January 11, 1889 and has lived here all of his life. He went to the grammar schools and part way through the high school when he was forced to quit on account of bad health. He took a position with the Seattle Electric Company as conductor, thinking that the outside work would benefit him. It was while working at this that he contracted the illness which caused his death.

His mother and four brothers survive. A sister died about three months ago. Arrangements for the funeral have not been completed.
