I.E. “Cotton” Holley, 72, of 2506 Garden Drive died Thursday at 8:15 a.m. in a local hospital.

Funeral services will be held Saturday at 10:30 a.m. in the Sorrells & Sons Funeral Chapel. Burial will be in the Brigham Cemetery with friends of the family serving as pallbearers.

He was born Nov. 18, 1906. He married Louise Flemming in 1933 and was a contractor and a member of the Methodist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Louise, of Greenville; two sisters, Verne Baber of Belton and Ruby House of San Antonio; and several other relatives.

Sorrells & Sons Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Funeral services for I.E. “Cotton” Holley, 72, of 2506 Garden Dr. will be held today at 10:30 a.m. at Sorrells & Sons Chapel, with burial to follow at Brigham Cemetery.

Holley died Thursday in a Greenville hospital.

He was born in Hunt County Nov. 18, 1906, the son of Edgar and Alley Britt Holley. He married Louise Flemming, who survives, in 1933. Holley was a contractor, a Methodist Church member and a member of the Commerce Independent Order of Odd Fellows.

Survivors include his wife Louise of Greenville; a son, Bill Holley of Miami, Fla.; sisters, Verne Baber of Belton and Rubye House of San Antonio; and several other relatives. Holley was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers.

Friends of the family will serve as pallbearers.

Arrangements are under the direction of Sorrells & Sons Funeral Home.
