Evidently he was out in California at his son William Isaac's in Alhambra, Los Angeles County, California when he died. I found the death record, and there is no death certificate in Missouri for him. They must have shipped him home to be buried next to Emily Jane "Emma", or else the Missouri headstone is a cenotaph. The cemetery could say for sure.
