ELLIS MONROE HUSE
Graveside services for Ellis Monroe Huse were held on Monday, October 17, 1983, at Laurel Land Memorial Park in Dallas. Born December 19, 1908, he was the son of Henry and Anna Lee Huse. He was a lifelong resident of Rockwall County. A Mason and Shriner, Captain in the U.S. Army during World War II, Mr. Huse taught school for several years in the Blackland, Blockdale, Millwood and Lavon areas. Mr. Huse was married to the late Mable Cornelius of Rockwall and Royse City. They were the parents of one son, Joe Howard Huse, who survives, along with his wife Dottie, and their children Angelina Richardson of Quinlan, Mark Huse of Dallas, Sherry Huse, Kyle Huse, and Suzie Huse all of Irving, and one great-grandson Eric Huse, also of Irving. He is survived by his wife, Doris Huse of Dallas; one stepson, Ronald Newsom and one step-daughter, Mrs. Pat Huse Bidegain of Arizona; two brothers, Earl Huse, Harvey Huse and one sister, Mrs. Marie Cross, formerly of Rockwall.
