EASTHAMPTON - Paul J. Jones, 76, of Easthampton, died Friday, May 3, 2013, in Redstone Rehabilitation and Nursing Center.

He was born Dec. 27, 1936, in Morgan City, La. He attended schools in Morgan City and enlisted in the Air Force at the age of 17 during the Korean conflict.

After discharge from the military, he was employed by Mosher Chemical, Co., of Chicopee retiring in 1996.

He was a member of the National Rifle Association and past president of Easthampton Fish and Game.

He is survived by his wife Suzanne Lemay Jones; three sons, Richard of Springfield, Leon of Chicopee and Bryan of Connecticut; one daughter, Theresa Jones of Massachusetts; one sister, Diane Morvant of Louisiana; and many nieces and nephews.

Visiting hours will be Wednesday, May 15, from 4 to 7 p.m. in the Mitchell Funeral Home, 15 Park St., Easthampton.

Burial will be Thursday, May 16, at 10 a.m. in the Massachusetts Veterans' Memorial Cemetery in Agawam.
