Ellsworth - Florence E. Dumler, 73, died Saturday (October 20, 1982) at the Ellsworth County Veterans Memorial Hospital.

She was born October 13, 1909 in Barton County, and married Adolph Dumler Oct. 20 1935 in Russell. They lived in Russell from 1939 to 1954, when they moved to Ellsworth. She was a housewife and a nurses aide, working at the Good Samaritan Home. She was a member of the Immanuel Lutheran Church, Ellsworth.

She was preceded in death by a son, Arnold, who died in 1973. Her survivors are : Her widower, Adolph, of the home; a son, Donald, of Sterling; a daughter, Kathleen McAtee, of Kansas City, Mo.; a brother, Alvin Ochs, Great Bend; two sisters, Emma Karst, Loveland, Colo,; and Berna Roher, of Alexandria, Va.; two sisters-in-laws, Mrs. Armin Strecker and Irene Yingling, both of Russell; 11 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Her funeral will be (handwritten notation Nov. 2) at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, at the Immanuel Lutheran Church, with the Rev. Elmer Feddersen officiating. Burial will be in the Ellsworth Memorial Cemetery. Her family suggests memorials to the Diabetic Foundation of to the American Heart Association. Friends may call at the Grubb-Parson Funeral Home until 8 p.m. today, and from 8 to 11 a.m. Tuesday, and then from noon until service time at the church.
