She was born Jan. 21, 1923, in Norwalk, to Fred and Leona (Mackert) Vagus.
Ethel was a retired secretary and CEO with Collins Grain Association, as well as office manager at Norwalk Finance. She retired in 1983 and moved to Corley Island Manor in Leesburg, Fla.
She is survived by her son, John A. (Mickey) Frisch of Norwalk; daughter, Sharri A. Osburn of Columbus, Ohio; grandchildren, Aimee (Stan) Baer, Dr. Wendy (Chris) Freeland, Ray (Kaycie) Osburn; and one great-grandson, Elias J. Osburn.
Ethel was preceded in death by her husband, John R. Frisch; sister, Gladys Pheifer; daughter, Dianna J. Frisch; and brothers, Fred and Robert Vogus.
Ethel was a member of St. Paul's Catholic Church, Norwalk, and a member of V.F.W. Auxiliary, Norwalk.
Services are private at the family's request. Burial will be in Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, Fla.
