Grace or Mimi as she was called was the daughter of Mora Wilson Green and his first wife, Lillie Iva Ross. Grace married Oscar "Tola" Dunn on July 23, 1921. Three children were born to them: Eva Belle Dunn Crowley, Samuel Oscar Dunn and Nolan Eugene "Gene" Dunn. She later married Marvin Alford Strickland.

Services were held Tuesday for Mrs Grace Winona Strickland, 79, of Center Point, who passed away October 27 in a San Antonio hospital. Services were held in the Ebensberger Funeral Home in Boerne and interment followed in the Center Point Cemetery.
Mrs Strickland was born June 22, 1905 in Groveton. Survivors are one daughter, Mrs Eva Crowley, of Center Point; two sons, Gene Dunn of Fort Worth, and Sam Dunn of Fort Gibson, Oklahoma; one sister, Arlena Canon of Long Beach, California; two brothers, Wilson Greene and Jimmy Greene of Grapeland; 10 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
