Cody Ray Breeden, 23, of Elkton passed away Wednesday, March 27, 2013 at the University of Virginia Medical Center in Charlottesville.
Cody was born April 27, 1989 in Harrisonburg and was the son of Nelson Ray and Karen L. Breeden of Elkton.
Cody was employed by Greenwood Inc. in Elkton as a heavy equipment operator. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, four wheeling and riding his Harley.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by a brother, Josh Breeden and wife, Nora and their daughter, Natalie Grace of Shenandoah; his fiancée, Jessica Williams and her son, Jaden of Elkton; grandmother, Delores "Lois" Breeden of Elkton. Cody was preceded in death by his grandparents, Charles L. and Mary Breeden, and Owen Breeden.
The family will receive friends for a Celebration of Life from 6 to 8 Friday evening March 29, 2013 at the Kyger Funeral Home in Elkton. Friends may also call at the Breeden home at anytime. Funeral services and burial will be private with Pastor Carter Dean officiating.
