Andrew J. McGeehan Dies
Andrew J. McGeehan, aged 73, died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. A. D. Templeton, 36 Graham avenue, Lee Park, following an illness of complications.
Mr. McGeehan resided in Hazleton until a young man, when he came to this city. He was closely associated with the late Judge Lynch and while Judge Lynch represented this district in Congress, Mr. McGeehan acted as his secretary. Later years he was employed as a foreman by the Lehigh & Wilkes-Barre Coal Co.
He was a member of St. Aloysius' Church, Lee Park. The following sons and daughters survive: Thomas, a sergeant in the city police department; Michael J., of Parsons; Ella, of Boise, Idaho; Sally, of Englewood, N. J.; Mrs. A. D. Templeton, of Lee Park, and Anna and John, of this city.
