Margaret "Maggie" S. Alred, was a homemaker, and was born in Decatur, now Grady County & formerly lived in Thomasville. The was the daughter of the late Rhoda S. Singletary and Andy S. Singletary of Grady County, and the wife of the late Glenn Jones Alred. She was a member of First United Methodist Church of Thomasville.
Survivors include two sons, James E. and Glenn Alred; a daughter Mrs. Wendell Smith; six grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
