J. F. McAfee, one of this country's oldest, pioneers, passed away at his home in west Texhoma on Tuesday night of last week. The deceased had been a sufferer from a complication of diseases for many months. A very sad feature also, was the fact that his wife has been confined to her bed for several months with a broken hip bone.
Services were held at the home by the Rev. Wade Hampton and the interment was made in the Texhoma cemetery on Thursday. He leaves a widow, one son and two daughters, who have the sympathy of the entire community in their bereavement.
