Harold Lee Cassell Sr, age 70, of Mt Juliet, Tennessee, passed away on Thursday, February 21, 2013.

Mr. Cassell was a member of First Baptist Church of Mt Juliet, as well as a veteran of the US Army where he served as captain of the small-bore competition rifle team. He was a member of the VFW and a life-long member of the NRA. He was a pilot, a registered nurse and an expert marksman.

He was the son of the late Alton Thurman and Grace Pauline (Reeves) Cassell.

He was preceded in death by his sister Linda Cassell and is survived by his wife of 45 years; a married son; daughter; two married brothers; three sisters; and two grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 2:00 until 6:00pm on Sunday, February 24th at Bond Memorial Chapel, North Mt Juliet Road and Weston Drive, Mt Juliet, Tennessee.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00am on Monday at Bond Memorial Chapel with Rev Andy Hale officiating.

Entombment will follow at Woodlawn Cross Mausoleum. [NOTE: This must certainly be the Southern Cross Mausoleum in Woodlawn Memorial Park, Nashville, Tennessee.]
