Helen was the youngest of six children born to Reuben and Annie Hartley. She lived in the Granger area as a young-ester and later moved to the lower Willamette Valley and the area around Silverton, Oregon where she meet her future husband. She was a very loving person and was loved by all her family and friends. She was a person who did not know how to say "NO" to anyone. She was very willing to help her family and friends when needed. She is missed and loved even more now.
