William Park Armstrong had an interesting career.
After graduating from Princeton, "Park" married Katharyn Rogers of Selma, AL whom he met while visiting his grandparents in Selma. His grandparents were: Captain William Park Armstrong and Mary Alice Isbell Armstrong.
"Park" began his career as a Wall Street banker. Later he joined the State Department during WWII, ultimately serving as Special Assistant to the Secretary of State for Intelligence. He then decided to join the Foreign Service (the diplomatic corps) in the mid 1950s and served as Minister to Spain and then Consul General to Toronto Canada.
"Park" and Katharyn are buried in Princeton Cemetery. Princeton, Mercer County, New Jersey.
"Park" remarried after the death of Katharyn Rogers. His second wife was Catherine Gaby. She died 6-14-2002 in Nova Scotia and is buried elsewhere.
