Another Pioneer Gone!
Mr. GEORGE DOTY, an old respected citizen of White River Township, died at his residence, on Thursday morning, the 2d inst., at the advanced age of sixty-five years. Mr. Doty moved to this county from Ohio, about the year 1820, and settled in White River Township, where he has lived up to the date of his death. Mr. Doty has raised a large and respectable family of children, and was universally respected by his neighbors, as an honest and upright man. But alas! One by one, the old men of our county are going to rest.
