COEBURN, Va. William "Bill" W. Pedneau Jr., 87, passed away Monday, Feb. 4, 2013, at Mountain View Medical Center in Norton, Va. He was a retired employee by Clinchfield Coal Company, a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II and a member of Coeburn Masonic Lodge No. 97 A.F. & A.M. He was the son of the late William W. Pedneau Sr. and Leola Mae Bolling Pedneau; also preceded in death by his wife, Edna Bernice Pedneau. Survivors include daughters, Elizabeth Odle and husband, Jim, Newark, Del., and Susie Powers and husband, Jim, Big Stone Gap, Va.; a son, Michael Pedneau, and wife, Roma, Richmond, Ky.; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and one niece. Visitation for William "Bill" W. Pedneau will be held on Wednesday, Feb. 6, 2013, after 5 p.m. at Estes Funeral Home Chapel and funeral services will be held at 7 p.m., with the Rev. Willie Ratliff and the Rev. Barry Sarver officiating. Burial and Masonic Graveside Rites will be 11 a.m., Thursday, Feb. 7, 2013, at Greenwood Acres Memorial Gardens. Arrangements by Estes Funeral Home, Coeburn.
