"Perky" was born on Dec. 11, 1899 in DeLand, Florida, the daughter of Edward Boykin Richardson and his wife, Ruth Rodenhouse. She graduated from Stetson Business College. Her working career began with the Walter B. Hawkins Fruit Company. She was a legal stenographer for a De Land law firm and retired as secretary to the Administrator with the Veteran's Administration in Jacksonville, Florida.
Mrs. Mason was a member of The Church of the Good Shepherd and The Women's Club of Jacksonville. She was a former member of St. Luke's Hospital Auxiliary and a life member of The Garden Center Circle.
Mrs. Mason was preceded in death by her parents and brother; her grandson, David Alan Burke and is survived by her daughter and son-in-law; her 2 grandsons and their wives; and her 2 great-grandchildren.
