GLADYS MARTIN - Gladys passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 21, 2011 at the age of 93.

Predeceased by her parents, Walter Baylor and Clara (Klemish) Baylor; her sisters Evangeline Branch, Bernice (George) Zvanchuk, and her brothers Eugene and Melvin Baylor.

Gladys is survived by her brother Walter Baylor, her sisters Norma (Bob) Bertram, Dorothy Baylor, Loreen (Al) DeBaleau, and Marjorie Zabo; and by her daughter Sharon (Rob Jones) Martin, her son Walter (Joanne) Martin, and grandchildren Jennifer Jones, Emily Jones, Nicole Martin, Christopher Martin, Victoria Martin, as well as numerous nephews and nieces.

Gladys was born May 14, 1918 and grew up on the family farm near Richardson, SK. She became an accomplished pianist and played with the Regina Symphony Orchestra.

In the 1930's she moved to California where she worked as a riveter and later as a typist/secretary for Douglas Aircraft during the war years.

She married Leo Martin and helped him farm in Milestone, SK and later near Regina while residing in Regina. During her later years she resided at the Broadway Terrace and then the Victorian Personal Care Home.

Special thanks is given to the staff of the Victorian PCH for their efforts in her final months.

Funeral Service will be held at Speers Funeral Chapel, 2136 College Avenue, Regina, SK, on Tuesday, December 27, 2011 at 1:00 p.m.
