NORRIS CITY -- Sylvia A. (Rumsey) Healy, 81, died Monday, July 14, 2003, at Ferrell Hospital in Eldorado.
She was a member of the Ditney Ridge Baptist Church.
Surviving are a son, Dean; a sister, Fern Rister; a brother, Eugene McEwen; three grandchildren; and a great-grandchild

Sylvia A. Healy, 81, Norris City, died at 12:41 p.m. Monday, July 14, 2003 at Ferrell Hospital in Eldorado.
Mrs. Healy was born July 22, 1921 in Hamilton County, the daughter of Everett and Ora Belle (Shelton) Rumsey. She married James William Healy Aug. 7, 1939, and he preceded her in death Jan. 19, 1999. She was a homemaker and member of Ditney Ridge Baptist Church.
Surviving are a son and daughter-in-law, Dean and Paula Healy of Norris City; three grandchildren, Deborah Short and her husband, Steve; Dennis Healy and his wife, Jessica; and Phillip Healy; a great-grandson, Hunter Dale Healy; a sister and brother-in-law, Fern and James Rister of Omaha; a brother, Eugene McEwen of Toana, Va.; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and a brother, Wilbourn "Red" Rumsey.
Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at Ditney Ridge Baptist Church near Norris City, the Rev. C. Ernest Essary officiating. Burial will be at Ditney Ridge Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Wednesday at Campbell Funeral Home in Norris City. The body will then lie in state after 10 a.m. Thursday at the church.
