DURANT - Lina Louise Sanders, 95, passed away Friday, Jan. 4, 2013 at Texoma Medical Center.
Funeral service will be at 2 p.m., Thursday, Jan. 10, 2013 at Bratcher Funeral Home, Denison, Texas with Vaden Morgan officiating. Burial will follow at Cedarlawn Memorial Park, Sherman, Texas.
Pallbearers will be Jason Sanders, Josh Sanders, Steve Sanders, Ben Pierce, Keith Sanders and Steven Sanders.
Lina was born Saturday, Sept. 22, 1917 in Blue Mountain, Ark. to Manley J. and Lillie Nunn Foreman. She moved with her parents in 1925 to Tupelo, Okla. and was raised four miles south of Tupelo. On Oct. 20, 1934 she married Robert J. Sanders in Jessie, Okla. and to this union five children were born.
She is survived by sons, Clovis Wayne Sanders and wife Florine of Colgate, Okla., Waymon D. Sanders of Cartwright, Okla., John Edward Sanders and wife Glenda Sue of Durant, Okla.; daughters, Mary Louise Sanders of Denison, Lacreshia Faye Ellenwood and husband David of Prescott, Ariz.; eight grandchildren Keith Sanders, Jenny Pierce, Cindy Krugman, Steve Sanders, Diana Kitchiel, Chrissy Price, Michael Sanders, Dallas Ellenwood; 22 great-grandchildren and 15 great-greatgrandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents and husband Robert Jewell Sanders in 2000, three grandchildren Kenneth Sanders, William Sanders and Richard Sanders.
