Peggy Jean Holcomb, of Big Stone Gap, was called to her heavenly home Tuesday (June 28, 2005).
Peggy and her husband, Elmer were owners of the Fabric & Sewing Center until early retirement. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. Peggy was a Christian of the Methodist Faith. She loved to travel, go to the beach, sew, do crafts, shop and live life to the fullest degree.
The love of her life and husband of 54 years, Elmer Jean Holcomb.
Visitation and services were held at Gilliam Funeral Home Thursday, June 30, with the Rev. Ronnie Mutter, Pastor Tony Nunley and Father Bob Bond.
Graveside services were conducted at 11 a.m. Friday at Powell Valley Memorial Gardens Mausoleum, Big Stone Gap.
Gilliam Funeral Home is serving the Holcomb family.
