Vadna A. Mullins, 96, of Clintwood, passed away at Heritage Hall Health Care Center in Clintwood on Tuesday, April 5, 2005 after a lengthy illness.

She was born in 1909 and was the daughter of the late Sol and Mary Kelly Anderson. She was the widow of Joseph "Little Joe" Mullins.

She was preceded in death by five infant children; children, Jeuett Mullins, Garnett W. Mullins, Bobby "Mousie" Mullins; and numerous step-sons and daughters.

Survivors include four sons; four daughters; one brother; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at Clintwood Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Lester Mullins officiating. Burial will follow in the Mullins Cemetery, Foxtown community. Pallbearers will be Rick Phipps, Jim Phipps, Mike Mullins, Randy Mullins, Joe Mullins and Wayne Hoskins. Honorary pallbearers will be Larry Phipps, Wayne Grant, Chester Phipps, Kenneth Mullins, Larry Keel, Gary Keel, Roy Mullins and Tolby Mooney.

The family will receive friends after 6 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

Clintwood Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
