Beason, Shirley June -age 75, of North Knoxville, went to be with the Lord on Friday, December 28, 2012, at her home after a lengthy battle with cancer. She was of the Baptist faith. Preceded in death by parents, Rex and Helen Henry. Survived by husband of fifty-two years, Thurman (Bud) Beason; son and daughter-in-law, Rodney and Carol Beason; granddaughter, Samantha Beason; and several siblings. The family and friends are invited to attend funeral services at 2:00 pm, Monday, January 31, 2012, at Rose Mortuary Broadway Chapel with Rev. J.C. Patterson officiating.
