Mrs. Lena Bernice Floyd, age 87 of Jena, La. passed away Sunday, September 3, 2006 at the LaSalle General Hospital in Jena, La. Mrs. Floyd was a member of the First Baptist Church of Jena, La.
She was born January 18, 1919 in French Fork to the union of the late Isaac and Louella Johnson Clark.
Mrs. Floyd is survived by her three daughters: Linda Girlinghouse of Baton Rouge, La.; Bonnie Herandez and husband Joe of Alexandria, La.; and Shiela Dickson and husband Don of Bastrop, La. One son, Jerrel Floyd of Walters, La. Four brothers, Burl Clark of Jena, La.; Wayne Clark of Lafayette, La.; Ray Clark of Arp, TX; and Harvey Clark of Walters, La. Eight Grandchildren and nine Great-Grandchildren
Services are under the direction of Kinner-Stevens Funeral Home of Jena, La., where the family will recieve friends on Monday, September 4, 2006 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM, and Tuesday from 8:00 AM until service time. Funeral services will be held in the Chapel of Kinner-Stevens Funeral Home at 10:00 AM Tuesday, September 5, 2006, with Rev. P.A. "Fox" Paul and Rev. Dominick DiCarlo officiating. Interment will follow in the Woodland Cemetery in Jena, La.
Stacy Floyd, Brent Floyd, Jason Floyd, Kerry Girlinghouse, Lee Girlinghouse, and Breard Miller will serve as Pallbearers.
