TRINITY - Services for Mary Canter, 81, were held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 29, 2009, at Calvary Tabernacle Pentecostal Church of Trinity with the Rev. Guy Hargrave officiating.
Burial followed in the Glendale Cemetery.
Mrs. Canter died Monday, Jan. 26, in Huntsville.
She was born Jan. 2, 1928, in Teague and was preceded in death by her husband, Grover Morgan Canter; and seven siblings, Leola, Virgie, Delmar, Nona, Faye, J.W. and J.L.
Survivors include two sons and their spouses, Dickey and Diane Canter and John and Sheryl Canter; two daughters, Kathy Bailey and Vicki Canter; five grandchildren and their spouses, Jay and Debbie Canter, Sahnnon and Ariane Canter, Travis Canter, Brandi Cuellar and Autumn and Jes Dubcak; and five great-grandchildren, Gerry, Brinna, Dyllan, Tallon and Savannah.
Waller-Thornton Funeral Home of Trinity directed the arrangements.
