Joe A. Aragon, age 66, a lifelong resident of Fountain, Colorado, passed away on Tuesday, October 30, 2012 at a local hospital. He was a tax consultant. Joe Anselmo Aragon was born on April 5, 1946 in Colorado Springs to John B. and Mary Irene (Bueno) Aragon. He married on August 7, 1965 in Denver, Colorado. Joe was a hardworking man, very honest, and a man of integrity. He loved fishing, camping, and family outings. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus, served on the Housing Authority Board for 10 years and was a volunteer for the Fountain Fire Department. Above all, he was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He is survived by his wife, his children, 3 siblings, 7 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by four brothers and four sisters. Visitation will be held at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 6, 2012 at the Shrine of Remembrance. A Rosary will conclude the visitation at 7 p.m. in the chapel. Mass of Christian Burial is planned for 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, November 7, 2012 at St. Dominic Catholic Church. Burial will be at Fairview Cemetery in Fountain. A reception will follow the graveside services at St. Dominic Catholic Church. In lieu of flowers, memorials in Joe's name may be made to the of Colorado Springs, care of Memorial Hospital, 1519 Boulder Street, Colorado Springs, Colorado 80909.
