Funeral services for
Mrs. Tressie Dunavin, 88,
of Monette, who died Thursday,
July 31st, 1997 at
St. Bernard's Regional
Medical Center, will be at
1:30 this afternoon at the Gregg
Funeral Home chapel in Monette
with Revs. Carl Blankenship,
Arthur Phelps and Roy Anderson
officiating. Burial will follow at
the Macey Cemetery near Monette.
Active pallbearers will be
Steven W Gray , Ronnie Douglas Dunavin,
Michael Dunavin, Timothy W Dunavin,
Mark Dunavin and William Dunavin.
Honorary pallbearers include
Davis Dunavin, Jeff Priebe,
Chad Priebe, Denver Chaffin,
Les Williams and Jamie Matheny.
Born in Ravenden Springs, she
lived in the Monette area most of
her life and was a member of the
Monette Assembly of God Church.
She was preceded in death by her
parents Henry and Mollie Ladd,
her husband Jeff D Dunavin,
and one daughter, Freida Gray.
Survivors include two daughters,
Mrs. Vanita Perry of Louisa, KY, and
Mrs. Oleta Birondo of Monette;
four sons, Ermel Dunavin of Sodus, MI,
Jeff Wayne Dunavin of Lowell, IN,
Don Dunavin of Saint Peters, MO,
and Ronnie G Dunavin of Houston, MO;
12 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren

Her father wished to be interred in Sharp County, AR; where they moved from.
*Most of her immediate brothers and sisters are buried in this same cemetery.
*Mrs. Tressie Dunavin was a very well-known member of the community as she volunteered many hours every single day, and was always helpful to those in need.
