RE: Charles W. Adams
No problem. It is a fairly common name. Let me know if you want it transferred later.

Hi Ron,

I don't have any other information on him. Would you like to manage his memorial? I would be glad to transfer it to you.

RE: Edwin F. Spofford

It's not my photo of Spofford. For some unknown reason I didn't provide a source. Sorry about that that. I'm sure it's in the public domain.

I just added another public domain photo of him. (It's a head shot and he's older.) Click on it for a link to the source.

I hope this helps. Good luck with your research.

Hi, yes you can use the gravestone photo, but portrait is not mine, so you would have to contact the person whose name is under the photo.

RE: Harrison H. Comings
Hi - the photo of this man is not from me. You will need to contact the photo contributor for further info. Sorry. But I did add a bit more info I found on this man. Regards,

Re: Harrison Comings
Hi Ron

Yes feel free to use that picture of Harrison. It comes from an 1896 booklet of the George H. Ward Post 10 of the Grand Army of the Republic in Worcester. He was a longtime member of the Post.

I am a Past Camp Commander of the Sons of Union Veterans of the Civil War Camp in Worcester. I have many copies of old Post 10 records and will look through them to see if he was ever an officer of the Post.

I have other booklets from the Post and will see if there are any other photos of him.

If you need any other info please contact me.

Take care

RE: Henry S. Hitchcock
Yes, you can use the photo I posted. However, the one I uploaded is of his gravestone. Someone else uploaded his portrait.

Henry Hitchcock Picture
Hi Ron,

I found this picture in the book "Death does seem to have all he can attend to : the Civil War Diary of an Andersonville Survivor". It was written by George Hitchcock, Henry's brother.

RE: William S. McFarlin
Sorry, but I don't have any information on
William S. McFarlin as a State Police
Constable. I do have some McFarlin memorials
but not William. He may have been living in
Middleboro at the time he was constable.
I wish you the best of luck with your research.
Take Care,
