As a youngster Mama, would take me to family cemeteries. In the woods, in pastures, in the middle of nowhere. She would tell me who they were and how we were kin. I didn't realize then that she was expecting me to carry on the stories of our family and of their final resting places. She showed me the graves of her grandmother's first babies. She told me how her grandmother had fretted when it came time to move. "Who will care for the graves?" I didn't understand then what I know now. Time takes its toll on the stones and those in the woods can be lost.
So today I try to record what I can, even those that are not my kin. These stones represent where our loved ones rest.

If I have entered a relative/ancestor/friend of yours and you would like ownership of their memorial, please send a "correction" notice requesting the transfer - it is my pleasure to reunite family.

PHOTOS: I've walked cemeteries for those that haven't yet found them, or cannot walk them for whatever reason. I gladly give permission for the use of these photos for your research.

If I have helped you, I sure would appreciate it if you would leave flowers for my Mama - she loved them so.

Remembering Mama,

Remembering Bud,

NOTE:
I just "love" those folks that "have compiled data" ... .... No $'s to F.A.G. memorials, but they got "DATA".
