Please do not transfer memorials to me unless I request it!! (Hunt Co. and Lisa)
I am currently going through 1911 death records and then will resume county courthouse Death Record Volume 1-A (1910-1916). [as of 10-2-17]
References provided upon request.
Mission Statement: A community of volunteers cooperating to re-unite families.
I often offer forward "edits" via the "edit tabs" for information I discover in genealogical research, based upon records. I will not be offended if my edit suggestions aren't accepted. Feel free to contact me for further explanation, or documentation of historical records, if you would like a resource for any edit I suggest.
FAG allows YOU to upload a copy of the death certificate to any memorial. Please refer to the FAQs to learn how to do it.
I would be pleased to transfer memorials to anyone who is family, EXCEPT my own.
I appreciate edits as they improve the memorial pages.
If you leave me a public message or SAC, please include the memorial so that I know who you are referring to. Please add memorial # you are referring to when leaving message.
I hope that the entries I have posted will be that "Needle in the Haystack" someone has been searching for.
Link the spouse to the surviving spouse in case the surviving spouse remarried.
I also try very hard not to 'duplicate', but every now and again, one gets through.
CHECK YOUR EDIT TABS OFTEN. It only takes few minutes and allows us to all go forward in our research and connecting family and other people with their families.
Not all my listings are family so ask to see if a transfer is possible.

boy you sure are detail oriented. I may never have found the duplicate.
speaking of the Old/New F-A-G - lately I've had a terrible time trying to add photos to existing memorials. slower than Christmas and eventually times out after 5-6 people. are you having the same problem? I hate it that Ancestry.Com took over f-a-g.
|David Sifford||Littlefield Cemetery and Littlefield Memorial Park|
These are two different cemeteries and are located next to each other. Often, people who aren't that familiar with this area, confuse the two. Littlefield Cemetery is the older of the two. All types of grave markers are used. Littlefield Memorial open around 1950 and only has ground level memorials.

I have updated Wm Spencer Sneed's memorial, and at this point, I don't believe W.S. Sneed of TX and William Spencer Sneed of Arkansaa/Oklahoma are one in the same person. However, please feel free to review the updates I've added - to see if you agree.

I appreciate the research you are doing in this area, of north central Texas.
Will you tell me what LUROC stands for?

You sent an edit through the edit tab to add a spouse for this ancestor of my husband's. My mother in law did extensive research on her family. The woman you want to connect to her grandfather was not his wife. I am going to decline your request, but wanted you to know why.
|bhrfrd123||James Roberson, # 19366929 edit|
Would you share your source for James Roberson's middle name? I have found a few Comanche County family histories that show his middle name as Alexander, but I have never found any official/primary sources that show it. (I have always left it off the memorial since I have never been sure of the accuracy). A side note, most of the sources from South Carolina and Alabama show the family name as "Robertson". I believe that they dropped the "T" when they came to Texas about 1871.
