My Mom died this morning. Please, leave her a flower if you have a chance. She was my daisy. My heart is broken.

I know hardly anyone reads profiles, but I'm putting this out there anyway--after repeatedly finding stones that cemetery offices insisted were not there? I do not put "NO MARKER" on my memorials. Cemetery records are fallible. Stones are added sometimes years after death. So, while I thank you for your effort and interest, I will not add "No Stone" or "No Marker" to my memorials.

I think the best we can do here is care about the people we memorialize. I think the worst we can do? Is let petty grudges interfere with us doing our best work. It doesn't matter if you and I are the best of pals or if you somehow imagine we are enemies. It's about the people memorialized and their relations who come looking. So we should do our best. Even if the 11 year old inside us doesn't feel like it.
